Harminder Singh, Harry

A child witness of 1984, Harry remembers everybody wearing black, dastaars or rumaals, while he was carried on his dad’s shoulders during a protest after June 1984 in Ottawa, Canada. 30 years later, after time to reflect on all the events and the various reactions to the violence, he says: “I really don’t want justice. I don’t believe the people who are going to give justice, are worthy of giving it.”
