Azral Rizvi

Just about 45 years old in 1984, Azral Rizvi was was working in the Information Department of the Soviet Land magazine as a translator. She noticed in November that her Sikh co-workers were not able to come to work. She heard accounts of the incidents as reported by non-Sikhs and was left in great surprise by the magnitude of the carnage. Rizvi and her colleagues decided to get a firsthand account of incidents. What they saw in streets of Delhi was beyond their imagination. There were screams and havoc everywhere. And murderous mobs were openly boasting about having carried out the killings.
